Valid ID Required: Acceptable forms include – A valid State ID Card (or outlying possession of the US with seal or logo from State Agency, Federal ID Card with seal or logo from Federal Agency, Commercial Driver’s license permit issued by State or outlying possession of the U.S., Commercial Driver’s license issued by a State or outlying possession of the U.S., paper/temporary Driver’s License issued by State or outlying possession of the U.S., valid U.S. passport, foreign passport, passport book/card, valid U.S. military identification card, permanent resident card/green card (I-551), enhanced tribal card (ETC).

Fingerprint Processing for the State of Colorado

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) requires that fingerprints are processed electronically through the ne Colorado Applicant Background Service (CABS) program. If you need to get fingerprinting for employment or licensure related to education, childcare, real estate, driving, adoption, healthcare, etc. please proceed to register for an account and schedule an appointment. During the registration process you will need a CBI unique ID which can be obtained from your employer or licensing agency or by using the CBI look up tool. Important – make sure the CBI unique ID is correct which cannot be changed once your order has been placed and fingerprints submitted.

We can help with the highest quality fingerprints on FD-258 fingerprint cards. We use livescan to digitally capture fingerprints and print them on FD-258 fingerprint card with black ink (meets all state, federal and other agency requirements) with no smudging or smearing for the lowest rejection rate. If your instructions provided by the agency requesting fingerprints state to get them in black ink our method meets their requirement – we guarantee it. Not for use for concealed carry or court ordered fingerprints, please contact your county sheriff for assistance with these purposes.

Fingerprint Cards 

You can request fingerprint cards for non-Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) purposes such as licensure or employment in other states, Federal purposes, ATF, for other countries or for other non-CBI purpose. We use livescan to digitally capture fingerprints and print on FD-258 cards with black ink (accepted and preferred by all federal, state and other agencies) with no smudging or smearing and less than 1% of our fingerprints are rejected. In the rare event of a rejection we re-roll for free!!!. If your instructions provided by the agency requesting fingerprints state to get them in black ink our method meets their requirement – we guarantee it. This option is not available for CBI purposes, if your fingerprints needs to be processed with CBI please see above. Not for use for concealed carry or court ordered fingerprints, please contact your county sheriff for assistance with these purposes.

The FD-258 fingerprint card is included with our service. Once your fingerprints have been captured by the location and submitted your fingerprint card(s) will be SHIPPED by first class mail unless you opted for expedited shipping. If you select our Denver locations Downtown, Kalamath or Union/Lakewood we can print on your own card and/or provide you with your fingerprint cards the same day rather than shipping them to you. Once you receive the shipped card(s) you can write in any additional information needed. If you have your own card you do not need to bring it to your appointment just write in the information on the card(s) you receive from us. Schedule an appointment at any of our Colorado locations today. Again this method is accepted and preferred by all agencies for fingerprint cards. The cost is $20 for one fingerprint card and $10 each additional card.

FBI Background Checks

You can request your FBI background check for personal review. Electronic results are returned within 24-48 hours and can be printed on paper or saved as a .pdf file. If you need mailed results we have mailed options available. Apostille – We can apostille your FBI results within 6-8 weeks. Once your fingerprints have been submitted and successfully processed you will receive instructions for ordering the apostille separately.

FBI Background Checks

We can process your fingerprints with the FBI for personal review and challenging/corrections. Once received you can use them for other purposes such as living or working in another country, adoption, corrections or other court related matters. We have multiple options including electronic results within 24-48 hours. We use livescan to process your fingerprints with the FBI – there is nothing for you to mail, just schedule an appointment and we take it from there.

FINRA is not part of the government, but rather, an independent non-profit organization authorized by Congress to protect America’s investors by making sure the securities industry operates fairly and honestly.

Fingerprint information can be submitted to FINRA either electronically through FINRA’s Electronic Fingerprint Submission (EFS) program or with hard copy of fingerprint cards. Save 35% on your FINRA transaction fees by utilizing EFS. Less hassle and faster results make this the best option for FINRA fingerprint-based background checks. All that we need for EFS processing is your firm name, firm address and firm CRD.

The cost for EFS is $59 per submission to FINRA. Fingerprint cards is $20 for one or $30 for two.
